FAQs
How do I get to the Berkshires?
TOURISTS is located in North Adams, MA, in the heart of the Berkshires. By car, it is about three hours from Boston or NYC. The nearest airport is in Albany, one hour away.
Are kids invited?
As we'll be drinking and dancing for hopefully many hours, our wedding is an adults-only wedding. Babes-in-arms are welcome.
What is the dress code?
Weather permitting, most events will be held outdoors. On Friday, the welcome party is dressy casual (jackets and ties optional), and on Saturday the dress code is formal (suits/dresses). But what's most important to us is that you feel comfortable enough to dance harder than you've ever danced before.
Can I stay onsite at TOURISTS?
Rooms at TOURISTS were allotted first to family. At this point, there are no remaining rooms available. Luckily, there are plenty of excellent accommodations nearby!
What is there to do at TOURISTS?
Even if you’re not staying at TOURISTS, you’re welcome to hang out at the property over the course of the weekend. TOURISTS has a forest sculpture walk, a yoga site in the woods, fly fishing in the Hoosic River, and incredible food and drink onsite in the lodge and at the Airport Rooms restaurant. And in early September, we expect the pool will still be open!
So excited! Remind us how you met?
Em stopped Zack in the hallway after school when she was new to the seventh grade. She thought he was cute and she liked his Blink-182 shirt. They talked about guitars—Em exaggerated her skills, Zack downplayed his—and the rest is history.
